Tesamorelin is a synthetic forty-four amino acid analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone, modified at the N-terminus with a trans-3-hexenoyl group that slows enzymatic cleavage relative to the native sequence. The published record characterises it as a receptor agonist acting on the pituitary somatotroph, and examines the pulsatile secretion pattern that follows from stimulating the axis at its physiological control point.

Mechanism

Storage

Handling

Allow the vial to reach ambient temperature before breaking the seal so atmospheric moisture does not condense onto the cake.
